This role also requires a hands-on field technician who will also be able to comfortably handle electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, able to manage multiple tasks while ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes.

Role Overview:
As the Warranty Coordinator & Master Electrician, you will be responsible for managing all warranty claims and ensuring that post-installation electrical issues are addressed efficiently and professionally. You will coordinate repairs and replacements, manage communication with customers, and ensure that all work is performed within warranty terms and meets safety and quality standards. Your role will be critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring our reputation for reliability and excellence in the industry.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Maintain a 95%+ resolution rate on warranty claims within specified timelines
- Achieve best result for the customer with 5% of budgeted expectations
- Foster excellent customer satisfaction with quick and efficient resolution of warranty issues
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for residential and commercial projects.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and track all warranty claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate service
- Coordinate project timelines, materials, and team members to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external electricians to diagnose and repair issues under warranty
- Oversee the replacement or repair of faulty products, ensuring compliance with warranty terms and electrical codes
- Work closely with customers to communicate repair schedules, technical issues, and solutions clearly and effectively
- Maintain detailed documentation of all warranty claims, including work performed, materials used, and costs incurred
- Review and approve estimates for warranty-related repairs, ensuring costs remain within warranty budgets
- Manage and oversee the Bill of Materials, change orders, and RFIs specific to warranty-related work
- Ensure that warranty work meets all relevant safety, quality, and electrical code standards
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure replacement parts or products as necessary
- Conduct post-repair evaluations to ensure customer satisfaction and verify the long-term functionality of repairs
- Coordinate project timelines, materials, and team members to ensure efficient project execution.
- Oversee junior electricians and apprentices as needed, providing guidance and support.
- Perform regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master Electrician license.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the electrical industry
- 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on warranty work or post-installation support
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience managing budgets and timelines for warranty projects
- Proven experience in project coordination and team leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electrical management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
- Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple warranty claims simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
